Missionaries of Jesus landed in controversy on Friday when they released the picture and identity of the nun who accused *Bishop Franco Mulakkal* of raping her multiple times.

Attaching a photo of the survivor sitting with *Bishop Franco Mulakkal *at a private function on May 23, 2015, the Missionaries of Jesus said that they 'would not be held responsible' if the image went public.

Earlier, Kerala police has asked Bish*op Franco Mullakal of Jalandhar diocese*, accused by a nun of raping her, to appear before the investigating team on September 19, Inspector General of police Vijay Sakhare said Wednesday.

The decision to summon the clergyman was taken after a meeting chaired by Sakhare, IG (Ernakulam range), which was also attended by Kottayam District Superintendent of Police Harisankar and Vaikom Deputy Superintendent of Police K Subhash amid mounting pressure on police to initiate action against Mullakal. The nun had recently sought urgent intervention of the Vatican for justice and demanded the bishop's removal as the head of the Jalandhar diocese, questioning why the church was "closing its eyes to the truth" when she mustered courage to make public her sufferings.

In a scathing letter to the Vatican that was made available to the media Tuesday, the nun also asked will the Church be able to give back what she has lost. She alleged that Bishop Franco Mulakkal was using "political and money power" to bury the case against him. She had accused the clergyman of sexually assaulting her repeatedly between 2014 and 2016. The bishop had, however, dismissed the allegations as "baseless and concocted", insisting she levelled those as the catholic order had rejected her demand for favours.

Hurricane Florence and Resilient Women Bring Healing. Eden Gordon Media's Women of Influence Speakers for Fall 2018 featuring Identity Coach, Human Trafficking Survivor, and Hurricane Season.

    CEDAR POINT, N.C. (PRWEB) September 14, 2018

"As of Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, Cedar Point, North Carolina, where I reside, is now on the map thanks to Hurricane Florence. I am planning this Women of Influence tour with the knowledge that my home will have some repairs to it while living out of a suitcase and knowing I have to hold onto my faith through this storm. So many lives are being affected by flood and wind damage since Hurricane Florence began yesterday. It's with this, that I firmly believe our faith and our family are the power sources of strength that get us through these uncertain times. The power of resilience".... stated Eden Gordon

This October 2018 the Eden Gordon Media, Women of Influence, Fall speaking tour will be spearheaded by featured author and identity life coach, Linda Breitman of San Diego, California. This tour's timing is so appropriate at this time in our nation. Women are amazing, they are resilient and they need to be honored for their courage and strength to fight for justice, mercy and the value of life. These powerful women also include Andi Buerger and Sonja Bentley Zant, who are changing our world to seek out justice for the oppressed, to remove adversity, to engage the culture and to help women understand their identity.

Women of Influence from Oregon, Andi Buerger - Human Trafficking Survivor Speaks Out
Andi Buerger will begin her speaking tour in Washington, D.C. on November 7, 2018. She will be a featured guest for government agencies and law enforcement. In addition, Andi Buerger will be speaking to universities in the North East the week of November 12-15, 2018 focused on trauma and healing. Andi Buerger is an international speaker, corporate trainer, educator, business owner, writer, media talent, public relations and marketing consultant, nonprofit executive, and community ambassador. Andi is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Beulah’s Place, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing temporary shelter services to at-risk homeless teen boys and girls. She is in the process of locating a permanent facility in which to rescue and house more at-risk teens.

"Regardless of age, gender or cultural background, sexual assault is an abomination of fundamental human rights. This intolerable act must be recognized as such, as well as the debilitating toll it takes on its victims. Now is the time to stand united - beyond political boundaries - against those who freely pilfer our nation's innocence and cripple its spirit through acts of depravity." Andi Buerger

Women of Influence from California, Sonja Bentley Zant - Nonnegotiable Living
Hello! It’s me, Sonja Bentley Zant, author of Hurricane Season.

Back when I first wrote this story, I lived in a hurricane prone area of Florida, and so I have a personal understanding of the realities of the kind of storm that blows in, blows up, and blows out of your life and leaves everything swirly and messy. And after living in Northern California for the past four years, I also know how it feels to have a fire come within a hundred feet of your home, threatening to strip you of the basics you sometimes take for granted.

Natural disasters are inevitable in life, and there are so many things that happen to us that are beyond our control. I know that now. And so whenever I have the opportunity to share the concepts I write about in my books, there’s one empowering life strategy I always hope people will take away and make their own: It’s called nonnegotiable living.

Life is better lived when you have your nonnegotiables figured out.

When you decide for yourself what your “must haves” or “your deal breakers” are in your life and in your relationships, the list almost always consists of things no one can take away from you unless you let them. Clearly knowing what you want makes it much less likely that you will settle for what you get, and I’m a firm believer that we live in a culture that lulls us into settling.

As I head back out into the world with all of my stories and ideas, I’m stepping out with a desire to inspire my readers and the people I meet with a new kind of hope — one that starts with a pen and a piece of paper, and the courage to name your own nonnegotiables.

Women of Influence from California, Linda Breitman - Miraculous Identity Book Launch
"If I could crawl inside your mind for 24 hours would I have a good day?" 80% of Christians wrestle with negative mindsets. The war between your ears affects everything you do—from personal relationships to success, in business."

What is my miraculous identity? you ask. Your true, miraculous identity is to see yourself as God sees you. It is to experience all He says about who you are, why he created you, realizing your life purpose, and experiencing who God is for you. He designed you to be in relationship with Him and live your life in all of the miraculous wonders He promised you. This book meets you where you are right now in your hidden journey. Opening these pages is rather like floating down a river of living water—sometimes you drift slowly and other times you experience the exhilaration of rushing waters! Revelation of your personal, one-on-one relationship with God will become clearer. He knows you. And He knows how to engage with you.

Linda Breitman will kick off the Fall 2018 Eden Gordon Media Women of Influence speaking tour in San Diego, California for her official book launch, Miraculous Identity on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. She will be featured by Cloud 9 Worship Center for a special book event and signing on Oct. 27- 28, 2018. Breitman will then travel to the East Coast and Texas for her continued to tour and features with "Miraculous Identity: Unveiling Your Hidden Journey." Reported by PRWeb 2 hours ago.

The Pope Under Fire: Is He Handling Sexual Abuse Claims to His Full Ability? by Simon Baxendale -

Ongoing concerns with regard to sexual abuse which allegedly occurred at the hands of Catholic clergy over the years appear to be reaching boiling point in recent days. The Church has faced considerable controversy over members of its brethren reportedly abusing young people in recent times and, as such, voices have been growing ever louder in the hunt for answers and for justice. Pope Francis, largely seen as a progressive papal leader and one who has remained a positive figure in the public eye – is of course at the epicenter of the debate as the leader of the Church. As such, he has recently come under fire from those looking for justice with regard to the way in which he is handling what amounts to a very public crisis indeed.

The Pope has recently called a summit between leaders in the Church to directly address claims of sexual abuse and assault which will reportedly take place in February 2019 – but some are concerned that the leader is moving far too slowly, perhaps worryingly so for some, in his investigation. Speaking with CNN, clerical sex abuse survivor Mark Vincent Healy claimed that the Vatican is moving at a ‘glacial pace’ with regard to the claims that continue to reverberate in the press.

“PopeFrancis has had since March 2013, when he was elected, time to deal with the scandal of clergy child sexual abuse,” Healy advised in conversation. “From around the world, inquiries have reported their findings and received commentary in countless reports, audits, films, documentaries, media flashes and bursts – all the while, the Vatican moves at a glacial pace to ‘address’ the scandal with words of apology and acknowledgment of the harm done.”

Healy is not alone in his assessment. Colm O’Gorman, executive director of Amnesty International Ireland, and also a survivor of such abuse, too voiced his concerns with CNN. “The Catholic Church, at a global level, knew about these crimes, has known about them for millennia. But its approach has always been to keep those crimes secret.

Rising numbers in reports across Germany and the US with regard to clerical abuse have placed the Pope under additional pressure to act – with a number of high profile investigations poised to all but begin, it seems that action needs to be taken now, and not a moment later, if any hope of justice is to be sought.
